Introduction

Hi I’m Lauren Baker, owner and psychologist at Maple Leaf Therapy. I’d like to welcome you to the website and tell you a little more about what I do here.  

I offer bespoke treatment for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, stress management, low self-confidence, depression, and addiction. I specialize in giving you the tools that you need to make lifestyle changes that stick. My goal is to help you get back to doing the things you love to do.

To do this, I use a blend of methods that suit your needs. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to uncover the unhelpful or damaging thinking patterns that hold you back. Other methods include guided relaxation, mindfulness, and grounding techniques which are all tools that you can take away and apply long after therapy ends.
